ESTRAL BEACH (WWJ/AP) - The Coast Guard said they have found a body floating in Lake Erie Wednesday morning that “loosely fits” the description of a missing Livonia woman.  Her body was sighted by a helicopter in shallow water during a first-light search.

Susan Zatek, 55, of Livonia has been missing since she went fishing by herself on Tuesday night off Estral Beach in Monroe County, located about halfway between Detroit and Toledo.

The Monroe County sheriff’s department said the 21-foot boat registered to Zatek was found later that night with no one aboard about a mile from Estral Beach.

The Coast Guard won’t confirm the woman’s identity or her condition.  Crews were said to be “working on her,” suggesting the possibility that she might still be alive.

The woman was rushed to a hospital in Monroe.
