Great Day For Fathers At The Zoo
ROYAL OAK (WWJ) - Dads ran wild on Fathers' Day at the Detroit Zoo.
Lance Petway and his wife brought their 4-month-old daughter to the Detroit Zoo for the first time.
Petway tells WWJ he can't think of a better way to spend Fathers' Day.
"I'm excited, I'm a big lions and tigers fan (no pun intended) but I've never seen, the Arctic Life exhibit, so I haven't seen that yet, and I'm looking forward to that...the polar bears, yeah, and it will probably be cool in there," said Petway.
Asked what the best advice he was ever given was: be a good husband and be a good father and the rest will fall into place.
The Warner family of Oxford spent Fathers' Day at the Zoo.
Dalton Warner, his son, say's he loves his father, "too much," to the delight of his parents.
The family really wanted to see the lions at the zoo, so with everyone in agreement, off they went.
