Missing MSU Grad Found Dead In Penn. Lake

HUNTINGDON (WWJ) - The body of a missing Michigan State University graduate student has been found in a lake in Pennsylvania, where he was on an environmental studies trip.

The 21-year-old Aaron Riley disappeared Saturday evening.

Riley's body was found in Raystown Lake,  following an extensive search involving numerous fire departments, search teams, Bloodhounds, dive teams, Medivac helicopters and hundreds of volunteers. Police said his body was recovered in 12 feet of water, about 50-feet from shore.

Investigators said Riley has a medical condition that can cause him to become disoriented and lose his memory, but authorities have not determined exactly what happened. He had last been seen on a dock at the Juniata College Field Station.

The investigation continues.
