DETROIT (WWJ) – For years, fans of much-loved comedian and movie star Chris Tucker have been wondering where he’s been and what he’s been up to. He seemed to just have disappeared from the limelight right in the midst of a spectacular career.

Well, fans don’t need to wonder any longer. Tucker is preparing to embark on a 20-city tour and, best of all, Detroit is included! Tucker will be appearing at the Fox Theatre at 7:30 p.m. on Sat., October 1, 2011.

Tickets ($45.50, $55.50 and $75.50) go on sale Friday, July 15 at 10 a.m. and may be purchased at,, the Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge) at all Ticketmaster locations and Tickets may also be charged by phone at (800) 745-3000.
