Power Restored In Ferndale

FERNDALE (WWJ) - After Monday's vicious storms knocked power out to thousands of metro Detroiters, utility crews have been busy restoring power.

"Kory" is one of the  DTE lineman WWJ spoke to and he says there were plenty of challenges in getting the juice back on:

"Depending on the situation, when it's wired down if you can get the trucks back there then you do, if you can't, you've got to climb the polls," said Kory.

"Kory" who was finishing up in Ferndale says crews have been working since the outages occurred on Monday.

"Pretty much have everybody back (online with power) we're just patrolling now to make sure everyone has it on this one," said Kory.

DTE says that they expect power to be restored to other areas effected by the storm by Wednesday evening.
