Can Casey Anthony Profit From Her Story?

ORLANDO, Fla. (WWJ) - Now that Casey Anthony is out of jail, can she cash in on her story? WWJ Newsradio 950's Beth Fisher reports that while many believe Anthony killed her daughter Caylee, she was found not guilty and she can profit from her story.

"I've already heard some rumors that other news organizations are actually paying her money for the rights to her story; a book, a movie, made-for-TV show, whatever it may be," WWJ & Fox 2 Legal Analyst Charlie Langton told Beth. "Under the law, Casey Anthony certainly can profit from whatever incident that she did and her life story is probably of interest, so she may have a few dollars."

And, Langton says even if Anthony admits that she killed Caylee, she can't be tried twice for the same crime. Anthony will be back in court, possibly by the end of the year, since the woman she claimed took her daughter -- Zanny the Nanny -- is suing her for defamation of character.
