DETROIT (WWJ) – Rolling Stone magazine has named The White Stripes’ “Elephant” number five on its list of the top ten albums of the last decade, with Eminem’s “The Marshall Mathers LP” coming in at number seven.
The White Stripes were from Detroit at the time “Elephant” was selling millions and racking up Grammys. Eminem grew up in Warren.
“Kid A,” by Britain’s Radiohead, was named best album of the 00’s.
