IT Security Provider Mycroft Opens Southfield Office

Mycroft Inc., a provider of IT identity and security products and services, announced the opening of its newest office and professional service center in Southfield.

Mycroft, which has dual headquarters in New York City and St. Louis, Mo., said the need for the office was created by "the company's record growth resulting from the release of its cloud-based managed security service offering."

The new office is located in the Southfield Town Center complex. The company says the new office "will extend the depth and availability of the company's deep expertise in IT security, identity and access management consulting, as well as engineering and support services to clients in the Midwest and across the country."

There was no immediate word on the number of staffers who will work in the new office.

Mycroft is also opening a state-of-the-art research and development center in Waterford, Ireland.
