Ann Arbor Attacks: The Work Of One Suspect Or Several?

ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - The recent attacks on five women in Ann Arbor has many asking the same question... is one serial rapist at large in the city, or are there multiple suspects? WWJ's Jon Hewett spoke with Lt. Renee Bush from the Ann Arbor Police department.

"We are treating each individual case as a separate incident, with a separate suspect,  because the only thing we have linking everything together is that these were single females walking alone late at night," said Lt. Bush.

She says in those first three attacks, the women were all able to escape unharmed.  But in the two other assaults this past Monday, the victims were sexually assaulted.

"The suspects' description do vary, and we are dealing with them as individual cases ... we just ask people out in our community, most importantly to be safe and also to be our eyes and ears," added Lt. Bush.
