YouTube Hosts Educational Clips

A lot of students do not connect naturally with reading, and may need a visual to draw them along into a book.

YouTube, the internet video service that has captivated the world, has launched youtube.com/education, where it hosts videos focused topics taught in schools and universities.

Featuring a humanities section, the videos may prompt students to read about topics they had not thought of before, based on the visuals. Topics of videos on the site include poetry, religion, history, sociology, business, science and technology.
