Questions Surround Death Of Off-Duty Detroit Police Officer

DETROIT (WWJ) - Many questions this morning -- about the death of an off-duty Detroit police officer.

The 38-year-old officer was driving on Tireman when his SUV crashed into a church. Police arriving on the scene Monday night discovered that he had been shot in the head. Chief Ralph Godbee says there's no evidence that the gunshot came from outside of the vehicle. The officer was taken to Henry Ford Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
