Baby Dies After Falling Into Bucket Of Water
FLINT (WWJ/AP) - Authorities say an 11-month-old girl has died after falling into a large bucket of water while playing with a sibling inside a Flint-area home.
The Flint Journal reports the girl's mother found the child face down in the bucket Wednesday, after being alerted by the sibling.
Police say the girl wasn't breathing and was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The girl's name wasn't immediately released. Police say the apparent drowning appeared to be accidental but they were investigating.
