Oh Brother, I'm Hooked On Big Brother!

Hello, my name is Syma Chowdhry and I am a reality TV show junkie! Right now, I get my "fix" on CBS's Big Brother Season 13.

I have watched this season from the start, for its entertainment value.  Over the past couple weeks, I started picking sides.  Are you on Team Shelly or Team Jordan?  It really boils down to the "newbies" versus the "veterans."

Here is a quick explanation of how this season has gone.  Big Brother brought in 8 new house guests.  Then, the show brought back 6 former contestants to get a second chance to compete again.

Originally, I was secretly rooting for the new kids on the Big Brother block.  But, things have changed.

Right now, 6 house guests remain:

1) Porsche (who is Head Of Household and Newbie)

2) Kalia (Newbie)

3) Shelly (Newbie)

4) Adam (Newbie)

5) Rachel (Veteran)

6) Jordan (Veteran)

Rachel and Jordan were on the chopping block, but they won the Power of Veto  on last night's episode.  That means they are safe for a week.  Porsche is forced to put Shelly and Adam on the block.

Shelly and Adam have been coasting throughout this whole season.  On top of that, they have been playing both sides to get ahead in the game.  And the cherry on top, Shelly back-stabbed Jordan and betrayed their friendship.

So this what I would want to see happen tonight and through to the end of the season.  Shelly gets voted out.  Rachel or Jordan then wins next week's HOH (Head Of Household).  The HOH puts Kalia and Porsche on the block.  They "vets" convince Adam to vote along with them to get Kalia out.  And then Porsche and Adam duke it out to get in the final three with Jordan and Rachel.  And Jordan wins it all!

I feel bad saying that plan because believe it or not, I met Kalia less than 10 years ago at the Miss Philadelphia pageant!  She is so sweet and funny! I enjoyed meeting her.  Fast forward to Big Brother, I feel like she isn't playing the game as well as she can.

I've been asking myself, would I go on Big Brother?  It would be tough to have NO privacy.  It would be tougher to isolate myself from the world.  Being a television anchor, not knowing what is in the news daily would drive me crazy!

Take Adam for example.  He is from Hoboken, New Jersey.  That city had major flood issues from Hurricane Irene.  I'm wondering if Adam's home is damaged and he has NO idea.

Overall, I am addicted to this show!  I love the fact that this is a live show, so we will all find out together who will take the $500,000 prize!
