PAT CAPUTO: Not An Impressive Performance By MSU But Won't Matter In Long Run For Spartans

After sharing the Big Ten title last season for the first time since 1990, and beating Michigan for the third straight year, Michigan State opened its college football season Friday night at Spartan Stadium.

The game was sold out. Didn't look like there was an empty seat in the house, which is unusual for a season opener in East Lansing against a non-descript opponent like Youngstown State.
