DETROIT — Nuspire Networks will mark its fifth annual charity Twilight Awards Gala aboard the Ovation Yacht this Saturday, Sept. 17.

The festivities begin at 7 p.m. at the Renaissance Center’s Wintergarden Dock with a cocktail welcome reception, followed by dinner an awards ceremony, live music, and dancing until midnight.

Nuspire has had a strong connection with the Twilight Foundation and its various charity events since the foundation’s creation. The close relationship allows Nuspire and its employees to give back to the community and to see first-hand the fruits of their support.

“Nuspire has been a proud sponsor of the Twilight Foundation for years and getting a chance to participate in the annual Black Tie Gala is always a highlight. This event has professionals and leaders from all over Michigan in one place to honor the selfless work of outstanding philanthropists; which never fails to be an inspirational night,” said Nuspire president Saylor Frase.

Philanthropic efforts are a big part of the employee culture at Nuspire Networks. Employees at Nuspire were treated to a special surprise this year when the company decided to buy a ticket for each employee. The gesture reiterates why Nuspire has been recognized several times for its unique employee programs. Nuspire has been experiencing significant growth in 2011 and as a result has had to hire many new employees.

“The purchase of the tickets will give the new employees a chance to fully experience the rewarding experience of participating in a charity organization while having a great time at the gala,” said Matthew Thompson, public relations representative at Nuspire.

Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are still available with proceeds going to the Rainbow Connection, which grants the wishes of Michigan children with life-threatening illnesses and the Charlie Porter Research Grant for the treatment and cure of Acute Myeloid Leukemia in children.
