Funeral For Former Red Wings Assistant Coach Killed In Russian Plane Crash

FARMINGTON (WWJ) - Funeral services in Farmington Saturday for former Red Wings assistant coach Brad McCrimmon, who died in a plane crash in Russia last week.

The service is at noon at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. The Red Wings will interrupt their training camp in Traverse City so those who want to can attend the service.

McCrimmon and former Wings' players Ruslan Salei and Stefan Liv were among 44 people killed in the crash.

Most were members of the Russian hockey team coached by McCrimmon.
