Syma Style: Pick Up The Latest Issue Of Ambassador Magazine

It is important to support local brands and businesses, especially here in Michigan.  That is why it makes sense that Ambassador Magazine threw a dinner party featuring fashion designer Joe Faris line of jeans: Motor City Denim.

If you don’t know who Joe Faris is, he was a designer on Project Runway Season Five.  Now, he is back in the Metro Detroit area showing off his new line of denim!

Ambassador Magazine held a dinner party with a fashion show.  The parade of models wore Motor City Denim jeans, jackets and dresses.  I would call it FABULOUS with all caps!

Ambassador Magazine interviewed many of the guests at the dinner to get their take on the line.  This is what I said.

WWJ-TV Morning News Anchor Syma Chowdhry says that she loves Faris’ collection. “Despite what you see on air, I am a T-shirt and jeans girl,” she laughs. “If I could wear a jean dress on air, I would!” Chowdhry confesses that she loves anything feminine and also has an affinity for Diane Von Furstenberg. “I love wrap dresses, jeans, anything that hides what you want to hide,” she says.

Yes it is true!  I love jeans and T-shirts.  I even have a jean business suit that I have worn on-air!

I cannot wait to go get my first pair of Motor City Denim jeans!  It is very important to support our homegrown local talent!

If you want to try on a pair of Motor City Denim, head over to Caruso Caruso in Birmingham.  They carry the line.
