MACKINAC ISLAND (WWJ) – A reprieve from the heat of the recent Republican debates may have just been the ticket for the Texas governor.

The Republican candidate for president and Texas Governor Rick Perry was on Mackinac Island Saturday for the Michigan Republican Leadership Conference.

“There may be slicker candidates and there may be smoother debaters, but I know what I believe in, and I’m going to stand on that belief everyday. I will guide this country with a deep, deep rudder,” said Perry.

“We put regulation on notice, or government on notice that regulations were not going to strangle our small businesses, we understood that to have a prosperous environment required government to know its place,” said Perry.

Perry was introduced by Congresswoman Candice Miller, who is backing the Texas governor.

That sounds in line with facts when you realize ‘small business’ is defined by these morons as the entirety of corporate america and includes all million and billion dollar profit companies…reminds me of bush fighting for the little blue haired grandma and neglecting to tell the public his example makes over 300,000 net each year
