Right Back Where They Started With New Pitchers On The Mound

DETROIT (WWJ) - Doug Fister will take the mound Saturday and pick up where he left off in game one of the baseball playoffs.

Last night's start to the American League Division Series between the Detroit Tigers and the New York Yankees was rained out in the second inning with the game tied at one.

A sportscaster for WCBS Radio in New York ... which is airing the games ... Marco Belleti , says all of the fans are let down.

"I think the, the  New York fans ..one thing is you gotta remember going to the game ..you gotta pay for parking , the tickets ... they're only available now for tonight's game and if had tickets for today ... they're good for tomorrow, so I think the disappointment for anybody that kinda had to go through all that weather and sit it out and find out there's no game, maybe they can't go back and they're probably out a good amount of money between the parking and the food and everything else," said Belleti.

Game One will resume Saturday at 8:37 p.m, with Game 2 Sunday at 3:07 p.m. in New York.

Of course, you can hear all of the Tiger playoff games on our sister station, 97.1 The Ticket.
