Lathrup Village IT Training Firm Adds Recruiting

Lathrup Village-based Global Information Technology, an IT school and direct placement recruiting firm, is entering its second decade in IT training and consulting.

The company delivered its first computer training course back in 1999. Eleven years later, they have grown into a top IT training school, offering state and local government agencies training and certification programs in the areas of Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, Java, IT security, Web design, and project management.

Global Information Technology is a Michigan Works affiliate and licensed school registered with the Michigan State Department of Education and proud to be a Microsoft Gold, CompTIA, Oracle University WDP partner, EC-Council, Michigan Minority Business Development Council, Dell and IBM partner.

The company said student registration has increased tremendously in recent years, and the company has responded with improving its equipment offerings, hiring the industry's leading certified instructors and providing top services to students enrolled in IT training programs.

"By employing only the finest instructors, Global Information Technology ensures that our students are prepared to utilize the skills they learned with us when returning to the field," said Manish Modi, business manager at Global Information Technology.

Added Donna Wilbur, student service manager at Global Information Technology: "We are successful because we have a passion for learning, which in turn delivers the message to our students and clients that we want to help."

The company's growth did not stop at training. GIT is expanding services to include IT Recruiting for its clients, with a focus on direct placement search.
