Comcast Job Fair A Success For Applicants, Employer

PLYMOUTH (WWJ) - Almost half the people who attended a recent Comcast Job Fair in Plymouth have landed interviews with the cable company.

About 300 people showed up to apply for 200 openings last month. Comcast Spokeswoman Monica Benfor-Dechols said the pool of applicants was impressive.

"They were excited, they had the enthusiasm and the professionalism that we look for in a candidate, and they came ready to discuss their background. They came ready to work and they exuded energy and professionalism," she said.

"We still have many, many opportunities here in Southeast Michigan for accounting finance professionals, business to business and residential sales professionals, installers and technical support specialists," Benfor-Dechols said.
