DETROIT (WWJ/AP) – The bodies of a man and a woman found in an east side Detroit field have been identified by the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s office.
The deaths of 22-year-old Anthony Velez of Sterling Heights and 19-year-old Rosemary Chyz of Clinton Township have been ruled homicides.
Both victims had been tied up and shot in the head. Police said each was shot multiple times. Authorities have said robbery might have been a motive as their pockets were turned out.
The bodies were discovered Wednesday afternoon in a lot near Mount Elliot and I-94.
No arrests have been made.
