Police: Alcohol Played A Roll In Injury Accident

SUMMITT TWP (WWJ) – Two men in their early twenties are injured after a crash early Sunday morning in Summit Township.

Authorities say alcohol played a role when the 23-year-old from Kalamazoo blew a stop sign at a ‘T intersection’ and drove off the road and into a boulder.

Police say the pair were not wearing seatbelts.

Both men are expected to be okay.
