Red Wings Recall Chris Conner From AHL
Detroit, MI...The Detroit Red Wings today announced that forward Chris Conner has been recalled from the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL). Connor, 28, currently leads Grand Rapids in scoring with 7G-16A-23P in 20 games played. Detroit has also announced that forward Patrick Eaves has been placed on Seven-Day Injured Reserve List.
Currently 15-7-1 on the season, Detroit's next home game is scheduled to be played on Thursday, December 8 at 7:30 p.m. versus the Phoenix Coyotes. As part of a season-long promotion, the first 7,500 fans in attendance for next Thursday's contest will receive a free Johan Franzen bobblehead compliments of Amway, presenting sponsor of the Detroit Red Wings.
