2 Lost Hunters Found In Michigan's Upper Peninsula

POWELL TOWNSHIP (AP) - Authorities in Michigan's Upper Peninsula say they were able to find two lost deer hunters thanks to GPS coordinates.

The Marquette County sheriff's department responded Sunday afternoon to a 911 call from the hunters. The department says the hunters from Big Bay were following deer tracks in Powell Township when they became lost.

Dispatch gave GPS coordinates to searchers and the men were found less than four hours after the 911 call. The department says 27-year-old Christopher Cain and 52-year-old Mark Cain had built a fire and needed no medical attention.
