Father Of Missing Detroit Girl Released From Jail

DETROIT (WWJ) – Detroit Police confirm that the father of missing two-year-old Bianca Jones has been released from the Oakland County Jail in Pontiac.

D’Andre Lane was arrested in Detroit on an unrelated warrant in Oakland County – after reporting his daughter was kidnapped during a carjacking on Friday.

Detroit investigators turned Lane over to Oakland County officials in connection with the alleged violation of a personal protection order.

Bianca has been missing since Friday when her father called police and said he was carjacked and his daughter was still in the back seat. Police recovered the car but the little girl was not inside.

Police said Bianca may have been wearing a purple jacket and pink tights. Her hair is in braids.

Anyone with information on the alleged victim, abductor or vehicle, is asked to immediately call 911 or the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-2260.
