Police: Dispute Over Cappuccino Ends In Assault

BATTLE CREEK (AP) - Battle Creek police say a 22-year-old woman tossed hot cappuccino in the face of a gas station clerk during a dispute about the price of the drink.

The Battle Creek Enquirer reports the woman and a 25-year-old man went into the station Wednesday to pay for gas and two cups of cappuccino. Police say they argued with the clerk about the price, which was posted on the coffee machine.

Police say the man put down one cup and started to walk out, but the woman picked up the cup and threw it at the clerk.

Police later found the man and arrested him on an earlier warrant. The woman was being sought and charges could be filed.
