2 Teens Die When Car Hits School Bus

POLKTON TWP. (AP) - Authorities in western Michigan say a 16-year-old boy and his 13-year-old sister were killed when their car crashed into the back of a school bus. They say no one on the bus was injured.

The Grand Rapids Press said the crash happened about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Ottawa County's Polkton Township, about 15 miles west-northwest of Grand Rapids.

Sheriff's Sgt. Steve Austin says Bruce Privacky of Ravenna was driving behind the bus with his sister Antonia as a front-seat passenger. The bus was from the Coopersville Area Public Schools, the district that the siblings attended.

Austin says the teens were wearing seat belts. He says their mother went looking for her children when they failed to arrive home and came upon the crash scene.
