Detroit Recreation Dept.'s Swim Program Kicks Off Monday

DETROIT (WWJ) - Want to learn how to swim? Here's your chance.

The Detroit Recreation Department's "Learn to Swim" program starts Monday at five rec centers around the city. Classes will be held two days a week over the next 10 weeks.

The cost for the sessions is $10.00. Lessons are offered during adult swim for 18 years and older upon request, and annual center membership is required. Participating centers, along with the hours for the lessons, are as follows:

Adams Butzel Recreation Center
