Car Crashes Into House, 1 Person Dead, I Injured
DETROIT (WWJ) - One person is dead and another injured after a car crashed into a house on Detroit's west side.
Police say an Oldsmobile ran a red light on Lahser and hit another car. The Oldsmobile lost control, jumped the curve, and crashed right into a home on Lahser near Outer Drive.
All 10 people from the house - which caught on fire - were able to escape.
One person from the Oldsmobile fled the scene, another was taken to a local hospital, and the third was pronounced dead.
No word on the condition of the occupants in the second car.
