Grosse Pointe Woman Found Dead Was Strangled
GROSSE POINTE (WWJ) - The Wayne County Medical Examiner has ruled that a 56-year-old Grosse Pointe Park woman found dead in Detroit was strangled.
Jane Bashara was found by police Thursday in the back seat of her car parked in an alley at Pinwood and Arnott on the city's east side.
Her husband reported her missing Tuesday night.
Bashara, a mother of two, was active in Grosse Pointe Schools and worked as a marketing manager. Stunned friends and family members were among the more than 100 people who gathered Thursday night at a Grosse Point High School for a vigil in her remembrance.
There have been no arrests as the investigation continues.
