Jeffrey Zaslow Killed In Accident In Northern Michigan
DETROIT (WWJ) - Jeffrey Zaslow, a local best-selling author and husband of Fox 2's Sherry Margolis has died.
The 53-year-old died while driving in Northern Michigan Friday morning.
Police say he lost control of his car on a snow-covered road and was hit by a semi truck.
Zaslow worked as a columnist for the Wall Street Journal and penned several New York Times best sellers including The Last Lecture, The Girls from Ames and Highest Duty.
He had recently co-written "Gabby a Story of Courage and Hope" with Capt. Mark Kelly about the struggle of his wife Congresswoman Gabrelle Gifford after she was shot last year.
Jeff Zaslow had appeared on Oprah, The Tonight Show, Larry King Live and Good morning America. Jeff Zaslow and Sherry Margolis have three daughters.
