Bring some energy into your new year with a little friend like Marcus, a 9-month-old Basenji who weighs just 22 pounds and still has a little bit of growing to do.

Marcus is always on the go and has tons of personality. His favorite toys are tennis balls and stuffed animals, and he's hoping for a new best friend. Marcus and plenty more adorable dogs and cats, kittens and puppies are available for adoption at Michigan Humane Society shelters.
