Is Mitt Romney’s Michigan Ad Legit?

Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney’s latest TV ad airing in Michigan features photos of the candidate from his early days in Michigan.

The trouble is, according to the Daily Kos publication, the photo of Mitt and George Romney was actually taken in New York at the world’s fair, not the Detroit Auto Show. The paper also say  the Chrysler that Romney is driving in the ad was built in Canada, not Detroit.

Romney did grow up in Michigan, but lived elsewhere most of his adult life.

WWJ Newsradio 950 has a call into the candidate’s Michigan office for comment.
