Detroit, MI...The Detroit Red Wings today announced that forward Tomas Tatar has been recalled from the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League. In order to make room for Tatar on their active roster, Detroit has placed veteran winger Dan Cleary on the team's Injured Reserve List retroactive to February 8.

Tatar, 21, has recorded 36 points (13G-23A) in 49 games played for Grand Rapids this season and 125 points (53G-72A) in 177 career AHL appearances.
