–C Greg Monroe had the second-highest scoring game of his career at Toronto Wednesday, notching 30 points along with 14 rebounds. He had 32 points in a loss at Milwaukee earlier this season. Toronto guard Jerryd Bayless infuriated Monroe with a flagrant foul as Monroe went up for a fast-break layup.
“It was over the border. I don’t think it was borderline at all,” he said. “It was pretty obvious and they made the right call on it.”
–G Rodney Stuckey was held scoreless in 18 minutes with just one assist and a turnover. He was lethargic after averaging 23.5 points per game in the previous five games and his coach gave him a pass.
