New Cases Of E. Coli Linked To Clover Sprouts
DETROIT (WWJ) - There are two confirmed cases of Escherichia coli (E. coli) and five suspected cases here in Michigan and health officials say sprouts may be to blame.
Those who were sickened ate raw clover sprouts at sandwich shops in mid and southeast Michigan and showed E. coli symptoms from February 6th through 12th.
State health officials are recommending people avoid eating sprouts until they can find out where the contamination came from.
