MILAN (WWJ) – The victim of a home invasion in Milan is now murder suspect, after allegedly confronting one of the men who tried to rob the house as he was leaving.

The incident happened Friday morning in the Scottsdale Estates subdivision, when police responded to a home invasion call and found one of the suspected robbers shot dead outside.

Police believe someone in the house at the time confronted one of the suspects after they left.

Police say the second suspect is still at large and that he’s a light-skinned black man about 6 feet 3 inches, 185 pounds, and in his early 20′s.
