FCTI, Burroughs Partner To Improve ATM Availability

PLYMOUTH — Burroughs Inc. has a new agreement with Century City, Calif.-based Financial Consulting and Trading International Inc. to provide maintenance support services to FCTI’s customer base of more than 1,200 self-service ATMs.

Despite the nationwide spread of the ATMs, FCTI said the transition to Burroughs maintenance services was quick and didn’t lead to business interruption.

“Burroughs has been operating under a very aggressive schedule,” said Paul Cooley, FCTI president. “The transition has been seamless and our clients have commented on the improved service level and professionalism of Burroughs and their service technicians. We could not be more pleased with our decision and Burroughs performance.”

Alan Howard, president and CEO of Burroughs, called FCTI “an established service provider in the ATM, ISO market and hold high standards in providing services to their customers. They are very progressive in this industry and we are pleased to be part of their growth strategy.”

Burroughs provides document and payment-processing image technology, cash-automation products and services to financial institutions and retailers. Its products provide banks and commercial customers with safe, secure and prompt document and cash processing that improves operational efficiencies and payment security.
