Learn about the latest trends for spring and support a worthy cause for women at Village of Rochester Hills’ Spring Fashion Show. The event will take place on March 18 at the Royal Park Hotel from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
The fashion show will feature spring trends and styles for men, women, and children from Village of Rochester Hills stores that include Ann Taylor, Buckle, Chico’s, Eddie Bauer, Francesca’s Collections, Moosejaw and Parisian.
Proceeds from the fashion event will benefit the Women’s Fund of Rochester. Women’s Fund of Rochester works with local non-profits to provide various services to support women that include domestic violence prevention and education, emergency assistance and educational enrichment.
“Attending this fashion show is a perfect opportunity for ladies in our community to help other Oakland County women who are struggling,” says Peg Hamilton, founder of the Women’s Fund of Rochester in 2000.
Fashion designer and artist, Cynthia Lamaide will share her expert knowledge on design and fashion for attendees. “There are some exciting trends coming up this spring and we have an inspiring afternoon planned,” says LaMaide. “It’s a significant event for a great cause. I’m honored to be a part of it.”
Cynthia Lamaide is a fiber artist and fashion designer well known in Metro Detroit, New York, and Miami for her creative costume and fashion designs for films, music videos, and photo shoots. She has a varied clientele and her some of her latest designs were worn by actress, Jennifer Aniston, in her latest film, “Wanderlust”.
Tickets are on sale for $45 for the fashion show. VIP tickets are $60 and include a champagne and chocolate reception with fashion experts available for personal consultation from 1 to 1:30 p.m.
