If you believe in Karma, it won Friday when Michigan was ousted in its opening-round NCAA tournament game by Ohio.

The whole thing about Brady Hoke, Michigan’s football coach, referring to Ohio State as simply “Ohio,” is disrespectful to Ohio University, which has a fine athletic tradition of its own in the Mid-American Conference.

Then Michigan basketball coach John Beilein joined him. Oh, and by the way, the Bobcats do wear the green and white of Michigan State…

But really, did Karma have anything to do with the Wolverines’ defeat?
