Prince Climbs Franchise Games List
Forward Tayshaun Prince, who played in his 700th NBA game during the Pistons' last home stand, reached another longevity milestone Sunday. He passed Lindsey Hunter on the franchise's all-time games-played list, with his 704th career appearance.
That moved him into fifth place, with Vinnie Johnson (798) as his next target. If Prince remains with the Pistons for a few more seasons, he could reach Joe Dumars' record of 1,018 games. Prince had 20 points against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday but committed a pivotal turnover on Detroit's final possession in regulation.
