Forward Tayshaun Prince, who played in his 700th NBA game during the Pistons’ last home stand, reached another longevity milestone Sunday. He passed Lindsey Hunter on the franchise’s all-time games-played list, with his 704th career appearance.
That moved him into fifth place, with Vinnie Johnson (798) as his next target. If Prince remains with the Pistons for a few more seasons, he could reach Joe Dumars’ record of 1,018 games. Prince had 20 points against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday but committed a pivotal turnover on Detroit’s final possession in regulation.
