Dairy Queen Burglar On The Loose

AUBURN HILLS (WWJ) - Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the person who broke into an Auburn Hills Dairy Queen last Friday.

Police say they were called to the ice cream shop on Walton Boulevard around midnight after a resident said they heard glass breaking in the area. When officers arrived, they noticed glass in the front door had been broken by a brick, but the suspect was nowhere to be found.

While the suspect did attempt to get into the cash register, he was unable to and nothing was stolen. A surveillance camera inside the store captured an image of the suspect.

Anyone with information related to this crime is asked to call the Auburn Hills Police Department at 248-370-9444 or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP, online at www.1800speakup.org, or by texting "CSM" followed by your tip to CRIMES (274637).
