NOVI (WWJ) – Are you going through or pondering a divorce?  This weekend in Novi there will be experts on hand to help. The first ever Divorce Expo in metro Detroit will take place at Novi Middle School.

Producer Yoost Allard says there will be experts and seminars all weekend to help men and women find a positive way forward.

“In most cases the divorce becomes contentious because people get wrapped up in their emotions. It’s about the relationship and the fact that they’ve had enough and that sort of clouds their judgement and their rational thinking,” said Allard.

Allard says after his divorce it took him a few years to put his life back together.

Allard says there will be legal help, along with financial and real estate advice, parenting help and even a dating mixer. There will also be relationship experts for those who want to stay in their marriage.
