U of Phoenix To Host Detroit IT Career Open House

SOUTHFIELD -- Southeast Michigan is one of the most fertile grounds for IT employment in the United States. According to CIO.com, Detroit is one of the seven hottest markets for IT careers.

To help Southeast Michigan residents determine if a career in IT is for them, University of Phoenix Detroit Campus is hosting an open house for prospective students, current students and alumni.

On Thursday, March 29, University of Phoenix Detroit Campus will host a free open house at its Southfield learning center. The open house will expose prospective students, current students and alumni to trends in IT and IT employment. The event also will provide an excellent venue for students to meet alumni who are currently working in the IT field and learn what their careers entail.

Modeira Johnson, CEO and founder, iCloud-Intelligent Business Solutions, will be the keynote speaker. ICloud provides virtual server hosting, managed services, applications on the Web, and Cloud Assurance, iCloud's proprietary branded remote IT support. It also provides structured cabling, video surveillance and IT consulting for a very affordable monthly assurance fee, Structured Cabling, Video Surveillance, and IT Consulting for companies, non-profits, schools, health care and religious organizations.

The event runs from 5:45 to 8:30 p.m. at the University of Phoenix Detroit Campus, 26261 Evergreen Road, Southfield.
