NHL Likely To Look At Quincey’s Elbowing Penalty

Wings D Kyle Quincey was ejected from Sunday’s game for elbowing Tomas Kopecky, but he was relieved to see the Florida forward return. Quincey received a major penalty for elbowing and a game misconduct for the hit at 5:38 of the third period. The play likely will be reviewed by NHL vice president of player safety Brendan Shanahan. Quincey has never been suspended and has never received a major penalty for a hit. He hopes the league will take that into account.
