Detroit Police Seek Suspects In 3 Bank Robberies

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit Police are asking the public for help in identifying three suspects they say are responsible for recent bank robberies in the city.

While police believe the incidents are unrelated, they are still focused in apprehending the suspects pictured below.

March 16 Detroit bank robbery suspect

The first incident took place around 9:04 a.m. on Monday, March 16. Police say a man entered the Comerica bank located in the 3700 block of Woodward, produced a note impling he had a weapon and demanded money. He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Anyone who may have information regarding this incident is asked to call the Detroit Police Department's Central District Investigative Operations at 313-596-1340 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.

April 17 Detroit bank robbery suspect

The second incident took place around 9:22 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17. Police say the suspect entered the Comerica bank located in the 3700 block of Woodward, produced a note impling he had a weapon and demanded money. He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

4-20-12 det bank robbery
April 20 Detroit bank robbery suspect

The third incident happened around 10:45 a.m. on Friday, April 20. Police say the suspect entered a local credit union located in the 1400 block of Oakman Blvd, produced a weapon and demanded money.

The suspect then exited the building and was seen escaping in a white Chrysler Concord with an undisclosed amount of money. He is described as 5'-7", 120 lbs, medium brown complexion with a moustache, wearing sunglasses, a white stocking cap, green jacket and tan pants.
