Advantage One Federal Credit Union Announces New Program

BROWNSTOWN TOWNSHIP -- Advantage One Federal Credit Union recently launched a new feature of its Premium Perks Rewards Program, called My Value Center.

The Premium Perks Rewards My Value Center feature of the loyalty program provides members with the opportunity to get coupons online in addition to other consumer value-oriented features all through the rewards website that also provides members with deals, discounts, and coupons.

The coupon feature is called CouponCents and allows members to download and print coupons to their favorite local merchants. Additional features also include ShoppingFling, an online merchant mall that serves up special deals to brands nationwide that can be used online or in-store.

Advantage One launched its rewards program in the Fall of 2007 for the Advantage One Debit MasterCard and Advantage One Visa Platinum Perks Credit card. Today, it has more than 5,000 members actively engaged in the program.

"When we were presented with the chance to be one of the first financial institutions to roll out this new feature, we took the opportunity," said Jessica Barefoot, vice president of marketing and communications at Advantage One. "We think that our members will love having all those shopping deals in one place. Accessing it through the Premium Perks Rewards program makes the deals even sweeter as members will earn additional points for purchases made through the My Value Center portal."
