DETROIT (WWJ) – Are you planning a graduation party? More and more people are deciding to save money by partying in their own back yards rather than renting a hall.

They may not have everything you need for a successful party, but the Detroit Popcorn Company has some unique ideas to make planning your bash a little more convenient.
Popcorn-making machines, for example. They’re available to rent and Detroit Popcorn vice president Evan Singer says they’re inexpensive and easy to operate.
Other popular options include snow cones, cotton candy, pretzels, nachos and more, that can be made right in the back yard.
The 88-year old company on Telegraph Road in Redford Township recently increased the number of food-making machines it has available to rent in order to meet the growing need.
