EMS Called To Manoogian Mansion
DETROIT (WWJ) - It was a startling scene outside of the Manoogian Mansion in Detroit Wednesday morning, after emergency crews and several police cars responded to the home.
WWJ's Vickie Thomas reports an ambulance was dispatched to Mayor Dave Bing's official residence 6 a.m., along with several marked squad cars.
Mayoral spokesperson Naomi Patton said the call wasn't made for Bing, who is fine. Patton said the call was made for a member of Bing's executive protection unit who fell and hurt his ankle.
The injured man, who was not named, was taken by EMS to a local hospital and is expected to recover.
